How to find the right belt
- Lay the old belt flat without stretching it.
- Measure the inner diameter (for an oval, worn belt: circumference ÷ 3.14).
- Measure the thickness of the belt.
- A stretched old belt is usually 5–10 % larger than a new one – if in doubt, choose the next smaller size.

Safety notes – read before installation
- Danger to life from electric shock: Devices connected to mains contain hazardous voltages. Capacitors in the power supply may remain charged even after switching off. Unplug the device and let the capacitors discharge before opening it.
- Invisible laser radiation: CD devices and mechanisms contain a laser pickup. Laser radiation may be emitted with the device opened or the pickup removed. Do not stare into the beam, not even with optical instruments (magnifier, microscope).
- Operate the device only when fully closed; do not bypass covers or safety switches.
- Installation requires expert knowledge and should be carried out by a qualified electrician or repair shop.
